OPUS ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly when using the app:
- Account information — email address when you create an account, or your Apple ID identifier when you sign in with Apple.
- App content — tasks, events, notes, and categories you create within the app.
- Device information — app version and anonymised error logs used to improve stability. No device identifiers are stored.
We do not collect location data, contacts, photos, microphone audio, or any data from other apps on your device.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and sync your tasks, events, and notes across devices (cloud storage mode only).
- To manage your subscription and verify access via Apple's App Store.
- To send optional notification reminders you configure in Settings.
- To diagnose and fix technical issues using anonymised error logs.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Storage Modes
Local mode: All data is stored exclusively on your device using SwiftData. Nothing is transmitted to our servers. Deleting the app permanently removes all your data.
Cloud mode (Pro): Data is stored securely in Supabase, a third-party database service, with encryption at rest and in transit. Data is associated with your account and accessible only to you.

Data Retention
In cloud mode, your data is retained as long as your account exists. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Privacy & Security → Delete Account, which permanently removes all your data from our servers within 24 hours.
In local mode, data is deleted when you remove the app or clear local data from Settings.
Children's Privacy
OPUS is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, use the in-app account deletion feature or contact us at the email below.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
